Jetstar got mac!
So tonight I was browsing through the normal daily run of spam advertising that arrives in my inbox and I noticed this Jetstar advert.
Looks like Jetstar or their advertising/marketing/design company thought a Macbook Pro would be a good look, and it is.
I must admit I love the design and look of my Macbook Pro, infact all the Apple laptops look a lot better than just about anything out there.
Apple fanboi? Me? Noooo never ![]()
Pics from October
After a long time of not taking any photos I’ve been out and about the last few months. Here’s a couple of pics taken this month.
However I’ve realised that my 300d has dust somewhere on the sensor, thankfully it’s only minor and only shows up on certain pics taken in certain conditions.
So I’ll live with it for now and pay the $100 to get it cleaned some other month!
Got Random?
Do you ever get random stuff in your inbox? Here’s a recent sample of some randomness ![]()

Lovely!
Gmail has IMAP - Finally!
Have you ever wished that Gmail had IMAP capability? Well the wait is nearly over it seems!
I noticed today under the settings area for one of my Gmail accounts “Forwarding & POP” has been expanded to be Forwarding & POP/IMAP” and there is the appropriate section to to enable/disable IMAP.
So now there is another option to access Gmail, it’s just about the perfect email solution ![]()
iMovie 08
During last week I managed to make some time to play around with Apple’s new iMovie 08, it’s not a bad package at all, lots of options and capabilities. Not having used iMovie previously it didn’t take me long to get the hang of it.
I managed to waste an hour or so and make a decent clip of Luca’s activites from last month. Export straight from iMovie 08 to Quicktime, upload the file and use a Wordpress plugin to embed Quicktime files and we are off and running.
Love that technology!
