Posting something
Ok, so who else has been to the Post Office lately and found it such a pain to actually post something? Today I wasted nearly 20mins of my (late 2:30pm) lunch break in a massive long queue at the local Post Office.
I walked in, selected a CD box for the CD I wanted to post, scribbled an address on it and wandered over to the queue. There I waited and waited and waited, in the end the transaction took less than 45 seconds, after a good 15 to 20minute wait, I must been one of the rarities now days who just want to use the Post Office to post stuff.
People there to do photocopies, send faxes, have their passport photo done, withdraw their pension or benefit money, recharge their prepaid phone, buy a street directory, paying their phone bill, electricity bill, gas bill, car registration. Gah!! Doing everything under the sun but posting stuff.
Australia Post need to lift their game and focus on providing a decent service to people who want to post stuff, not being a convenience one stop shop for everything else under the sun.
Businesses do best when they focus on their core business and product, in todays world where businesses want to grab as much of the pie as possible they are easily distracted and lose focus. Remember the customer… pretty please

Queue in the Lobethal post office is usually at the most 2 people. I get in and out within 5 minutes. But wherever it is you go to the post office, i’m sure (and obviously it is) much more bigger/busy.
Bad luck on the waiting times dude
